Patient Information leaflets for common orthopaedic procedures Orthopaedic problems are often multifactoral. A careful assessment of your problem is always needed to ensure that the correct treatment is offered to aid you on your path to recovery. I pride myself that I am as meticulous in my consultations as I am operating. I will ensure that after assessing your individual problem and seeing how treatment would affect your daily life, I will recommend both the operative and non operative options to you if applicable so that you are well informed about the choices available for you. These choices represent major events in your life, and your decision on the day of consultation may be deferred to a follow up appointment.
